EMC Best Practices: Should VFD Motor Cable Shielding be Grounded at Both Ends?

For high-frequency VFD PWM noise, motor cable shields MUST be grounded **360 degrees at BOTH ends** using EMC cable glands. Grounding at 1 end only protects against low-frequency ground loops, but leaves high-frequency RF noise unshielded. Also route your 4-20mA sensor cables in a separate metallic tray at least 30cm away from VFD motor cables and cross at 90 degree angles.
