Siemens S7-1200 Modbus RTU CB 1241 Communication Timeout Error 8281

We are commissioning a S7-1200 (CPU 1214C DC/DC/DC) with a CB 1241 RS485 communication board connecting to 4 energy meters over Modbus RTU. Randomly, `MB_MASTER` throws error code `8281` (Module negative acknowledgement / Timeout). Baud rate is 9600, 8-E-1. 120 ohm termination resistors are installed on both ends. What could cause intermittent 8281 timeouts on CB 1241?

EMC Best Practices: Should VFD Motor Cable Shielding be Grounded at Both Ends?

We are experiencing high-frequency electrical noise affecting nearby 4-20mA pressure transmitter signals whenever our 45kW ABB ACS580 drive accelerates. The motor power cable is 4-core shielded. Should the braided copper shield be grounded at both the VFD PE terminal and the motor frame, or at the VFD side only to avoid ground loop currents?

Maximum PVC Wire Duct Fill Ratio per IEC 60204-1 for Industrial Panels

What is the standard practice for maximum wire fill ratio in slotted PVC wire ducts inside PLC control panels? Does IEC 60204-1 enforce a strict 40% cross-sectional area limit for thermal dissipation, or is 50% acceptable if low voltage 24VDC control wires are kept separate from 415V 3-phase power wiring?
